The following is our step-by-step process:
- Before our arrival you will have to clear the decks, ensure power points are available and there’s access to a tap.
- We will arrive usually around 8am to begin setting up our machinery.
- For the average 80m2 deck, we will often finish sanding in a day, sometimes two, depending on whether it’s a team of two, or a single workman.
- The deck is then covered in a strong deck cleaner and brightener that is pressure cleaned off to leave the deck perfect for oiling.
- The deck is then oiled, usually with three coats of oil and left to dry – this usually happens over one or sometimes two days.
